We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Program and Events Manager
The Moravian Historical Society (MHS) seeks an experienced nonprofit professional to provide vital support for its programs and to help advance its mission. The Program and Events Manager coordinates programs, events, and related tasks to ensure the Moravian Historical Society functions successfully. Responsible for the development and implementation of dynamic programming relevant to the museum’s existing audiences, the Program and Events Manager is committed to growing our audience. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program and Events Manager will work with the staff and Board of Directors to achieve the overall goals of the organization.

Museum Docent
The Moravian Historical Society seeks an enthusiastic Museum Docent to welcome visitors to the museum and assist with public programs and events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history and enjoy working in the nonprofit museum field. The Museum Docent has three key areas of responsibility:
1) provide a welcoming atmosphere and serve as ambassadors for the organization as the museum’s first contact with the public,
2) serve as interpreters of the museum’s exhibitions, helping to give the visitor a deeper understanding and appreciation of the collection, and
3) assist in preserving the collections by providing security in exhibition areas.

Internship Opportunities
​
The Moravian Historical Society has several exciting internship opportunities available to any college student who is interested in gaining hands-on experience working in a museum. Ideally, our internships are best suited for college students who are advanced in their studies and are thinking about pursuing careers in not-for-profit management or development. However, all college-level students are welcome to apply.
Currently, we are looking to fill two positions: Events Intern and Curatorial Intern. You can find more information about each available position here:
